Add And Update Leads
Create leads manually and keep lead records clean as your team works them.
Add a lead manually
If a lead did not arrive through an integration, you can add it directly from the leads area.
This is useful for:
- phone inquiries
- referrals
- manual imports done one by one
- test records
Recommended fields
At minimum, include a phone number. For better performance, also include:
- first name
- last name
- source
- notes
When to update a lead
Update a lead record when:
- contact information changes
- your team learns new qualification details
- notes need to be added after a call
- a lead should move to a different stage
Best practice
Use consistent source names. That makes routing, filtering, and follow-up easier later.
