Check these first:

1. does the workspace actually have a number
2. is the right number assigned to the intended workflow
3. is the team expecting a default number that was never set

Access issues

If a teammate cannot perform an action, check:

1. are they in the correct organization
2. do they have the correct role
3. are they expecting owner permissions while using a manager or user role

Good admin habit

When something seems like a bug, verify role and workspace first. Many access issues come from the wrong organization or the wrong permission level.
